Causes & Symptoms of Swine Flu

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the swine influenza epidemic is growing in the United States and across the globe each day. What’s alarming to some people, about this new swine flu strain, is that there are severe illnesses associated with it.

There are no particular swine influenza symptoms that can distinguish this new strain from other types of influenza. Some patients, however, experience diarrhea, vomiting, and other gastrointestinal symptoms.

The basic swine flu symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, headache, stuffy nose, chills, fatigue and body aches. These are the same symptoms we get from the common seasonal flu that most people get vaccinated against each year. But, as of this moment, there’s no effective vaccine for swine influenza.

The main cause for swine influenza is the H1N1 virus. But this new strain is a combination of avian flu, human flu, and swine flu. This makes it deadlier than previous swine influenza outbreaks, and it?s the reason why many countries around the world are alarmed by the epidemic. According to the World Health Organization report, there has been one confirmed death from swine influenza in the United States, out of the 91 confirmed cases.

People should not be afraid of pigs. You will not get it from them. This swine flu strain is transmitted by contact from human to human. Eating pork will not give you swine flu either. It is just as safe as usual, to eat pork products, such as ham and bacon. Just be sure that they are properly prepared. Meat should be cooked at a temperature of 160 degrees Celsius, to kill any virus or bacteria. Eating pork will not give you swine flu – just like eating chicken will not give you bird flu.

Swine flu can be transmitted via airborne droplets, which are released when an infected person sneezes or coughs. You can also get it when your hands are exposed to germs, through touching someone who has the virus, or by touching any surface that hosts the swine flu virus.

The most recent swine flu virus is a mutation which can be spread from one person to another. Mexico is said to be the source of the present swine flu epidemic. The death toll has surpassed the one hundredth mark. And while its important to take cautionary measures so that their family will be safe from this disease, one should also remember that chances of getting the disease are slim if you take proper precautions. And, statistically, your chances of dying for it are even slimmer.

Tamiflu Effectively Addresses The Underlying Causes And Treats The Symptoms Of Swine Flu

The virus that causes swine flu is rapidly spreading all over the world and there is serious cause for concern that it could become an epidemic. Read on to know more about the symptoms of this life threatening disease and how it can be treated with Tamiflu.

Symptoms and causes of swine flu
Commonly known as swine flu, the H1N1 type A influenza is an infectious human disease that is easily contracted from other people. However, the disease was nicknamed so because the virus that causes it was originally passed on to humans from swine. This virus is a combination of genes from the bird, swine and human flu viruses. In the past, this disease generally affected people who came into direct contact with these animals. But the current outbreak of swine flu is said to be caused by a new breed of the swine flu virus and has been reported even amongst people who haven’t had any kind of contact, direct or indirect, with swine.

Some of the common symptoms of swine flu are similar to those of the regular influenza and include cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat, headache, body ache, fatigue and chills. Many people suffering from swine flu also experience symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhoea. Everyone who has had flu, experiences at least two of these common symptoms. However, the above mentioned symptoms can also be caused by other conditions. This means that your doctor will be unable to diagnose the disease on the basis of symptoms alone. Many healthcare professionals offer a quick swine flu test, but a negative result does not necessarily mean that you haven’t got the disease. The accuracy of this test generally depends on the method of sample collection, the quality of the test, as well as the amount of the viral sample being tested.

Tamiflu UK
Tamiflu is a prescription medication and should be taken as per your doctor’s recommendations. Tamiflu UK is available at any pharmacy near you. You can also visit online pharmacies or internet clinics that have a panel of doctors who will issue a Tamiflu prescription based on your symptoms and diagnosis. Buying Tamiflu online in the UK is an easy and convenient way of taking swine flu treatment.

Consisting of the active ingredient oseltamivir phosphate, Tamiflu is a prescription drug used in the treatment of swine flu. Tamiflu targets this deadly virus and prevents it from spreading inside your body. Unlike other influenza drugs that only treat the symptoms, Tamiflu addresses the underlying causes of the disease by attacking the virus that actually causes it. Tamiflu can successfully treat this disease if it is taken as soon as the symptoms appear. It can also lower the risk of infection in people who have been exposed to an infected individual and thereby prevent a swine flu outbreak.

The initial recommended dose is a single 75mg pill twice a day for a period of 5 days. Your doctor will prescribe the appropriate dose on the basis of factors such as your age as well as the other medical conditions you suffer from (if any). If you are taking Tamiflu to prevent rather than treat swine flu, the drug should be taken for at least 10 days. Tamiflu dosage for children will depend on their body weight. Tamiflu is a well tolerated treatment for swine flu as well as for the common flu. However, it cannot be a substitute for vaccination and should not be used as such.

Cold and Flu -causes, Symptoms, Treatment

What is Cold and Flu

Is it a cold or the flu? While a common cold, including chest cold and head cold, can be caused by more than 200 viruses, seasonal flu is caused by either influenza A or B viruses. Cold and flu remedies can usually ease symptoms. Antiviral medications like Relenza or Tamiflu are helpful if prescribed soon after flu symptoms start.Influenza (commonly known as the flu) and colds are among the most common infections of the respiratory system. People often confuse the two, calling a bad cold the “flu,” or vice versa.

Typically, the flu (also known as influenza) has symptoms that make a child feel worse than symptoms associated with a common cold, but it’s not always that easy to tell the difference between the two.

What are the causes of the flu?
Influenza viruses are divided into three types, designated A, B, and C. Influenza types A and B are responsible for epidemics of respiratory illness that occur almost every winter and are often associated with increased rates of hospitalization and death. Influenza type C differs from types A and B in some important ways.

The truth is, the flu and the common cold are caused by viruses. People get sick more often in the winter because they are exposed to each other more in the winter than in the summer. When it is cold outside, people tend to stay inside and are more likely to spread germs to one another.

The flu is caused by three types (strains) of viruses — influenza A, B and C. Type A is responsible for the deadly influenza pandemics (worldwide epidemics) that strike every 10 to 40 years. Type B can lead to smaller, more localized outbreaks. And either types A or B can cause the flu that circulates almost every winter. Type C has never been connected with a large epidemic.

Symptoms of Cold and Flu
Viral pharyngitis may develop gradually. It is often accompanied by the flu or a cold, and body aches. If a fever is present, it will generally be in the range of 101 degrees F or below. With cold symptoms, your nose teems with watery nasal secretions for the first few days. Later, these become thicker and darker. Dark mucus is natural and does not usually mean you have developed a bacterial infection, such as a sinus infection.

Recognizing the symptoms of the common cold is important for a few reasons. If you realize what symptoms are bothering you the most, you will know which medications will help relieve them.

Introduction to cold, flu, and allergy treatments
Every year, millions of people use over-the-counter (OTC) products to relieve nasal stuffiness and congestion, sneezing, runny noses, sore throat, and cough. The common causes of these symptoms include the viruses that cause the common cold, influenza virus, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), and sinus infections (sinusitis).

ince it is caused by a virus, antibiotics do not work against the common cold. These types of upper respiratory infections go away on their own and taking antibiotics will not help your child get better any faster and will likely not prevent secondary bacterial infections, such as an ear infection or sinus infection.

For thick phlegm, patients may try cough medications that contain guaifenesin (Robitussin, Scot-Tussin Expectorant), which loosens mucus. Patients should not suppress coughs that produce mucus and phlegm; it is important to expel this substance. To loosen phlegm, patients should drink plenty of fluids and use a humidifier or steamer.Take paracetamol to control fever, aches and pains (adults can use aspirin). Early use of antiviral medication may shorten the length and severity of illness. Consult a doctor to discuss treatment.

Bird Flu Causes, Symptoms and Treatments for Bird Flu

What is a BIRD FLU?

A deadly disease that affects birds. First discovered in Italy in early 1900s and now exists worldwide. A serious strain of Flu that only normally affects birds. Small number of cases in South East Asia where this has transferred to humans. Bullae Large cyst-type structures in the Lungs. …

All birds are thought to be susceptible to the avian influenza, though some species, such as wild ducks, are more resistant than others. Domestic poultry, such as chickens or turkeys, are particularly susceptible.

Causes of Bird Flu
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), about 36,000 people die of influenza in the United States each winter. And three or four times every century, a flu pandemic sweeps the globe, claiming millions of lives. That the flu can cause so much misery is a result of its ability to change quickly and unexpectedly, to outwit “best guess” vaccines, and to take the immune system by storm.

The terrifying prospect of a world ravaged by a bird flu pandemic, against which humanity has little or no defence, and the already colossal human costs in terms of lost lives and livelihoods, make much better headlines, so folks with an interest in the cause of bird flu will just have to find the information for themselves.

Symptoms of Bird Flu
When humans came down with H5N1 bird flu in Hong Kong in 1997, patients developed symptoms of fever, sore throat, cough and, in several of the fatal cases, severe respiratory distress secondary to viral pneumonia.

Those people who are infected with aggressive, or virulent, subtypes of the virus (such as H5N1) may develop complications such as pneumonia. Another serious complication is a condition known as acute respiratory distress syndrome, which causes life-threatening breathing problems due to the lungs filling with fluid rather than with air.

The initial symptoms of bird flu are very similar to other types of flu and include:
Fever, cough, sore throat & conjunctivitis.

Prevention of Bird Flu
Public concerns are growing over the spread of avian influenza in South Korea. Quarantine authorities are on alert as the Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries confirmed Monday that the virulent bird flu virus, or H5N1, killed ducks at a farm in Jeongeup, North Jeolla Province. The ministry said 6,500 ducks at the family-run farm, 268 kilometers south of Seoul, were culled and buried over the weekend.

Treatment of Bird Flu
It is possible that antiviral drugs used to treat other types of flu may be effective in treating bird flu in humans.
Vaccines to protect humans against H5N1 viruses currently are under development. In addition, research is underway on methods to make large quantities of vaccine more quickly.
Oseltamivir (brand name Tamiflu) and zanamivir (brand name Relenza) — antiviral medications used to treat regular flu — may be helpful in the treatment of bird flu.

However, their effectiveness against the H5N1 subtype of the virus is uncertain, and there are also concerns about the availability and cost of these medications. To have any effect, these medications need to be taken within 2 days of the symptoms first appearing.
There is evidence to suggest that the H5N1 bird flu virus responds to oseltamivir. This has led experts to suggest that it may also work against a pandemic strain.
However, there are also reports of partial resistance to oseltamivir by some flu viruses and tests are ongoing.

Causes of Avian Flu

Avian flu is caused due to the H5N1 virus which is transmitted from the saliva, fecal matter of the birds. The disease is highly contagious and causes death of birds and poultry population. The virus is lethal and assumes the proportion of pandemic, which can wipe out the entire population of birds and poultry. The virus also spreads to the human beings if they are in contact with the sick bird or poultry. Human beings are also afflicted by the virus which can even be life threatening.

Avian influenza is flu infection in birds. The disease is of concern to humans, who have no immunity against it. The virus that causes this infection in birds can mutate (change) to easily infect humans. Such mutation can start a deadly worldwide epidemic.

Avian’ refers to birds and ‘flu’ is the common name for influenza. Some countries (particularly in Asia) have been affected by bird flu infecting their poultry stocks, and a small number of people have caught the bird flu virus from being in close contact with infected chickens. There have only been a small number of incidents of bird flu in the UK where it has been found in poultry and a couple of wild birds. All cases of bird flu in the UK have been well controlled and there have been no cases of human illness associated with any incidents.

Avian influenza (also referred to as avian flu or bird flu) refers to type A strains of the influenza virus that infect birds. Avian flu occurs worldwide and was first identified over 100 years ago. Normally avian flu viruses don’t infect species other than birds and pigs. In 1997, however, the first documented human case of avian flu occurred in Hong Kong. Avian flu causes severe symptoms and can result in death.

Influenza is contagious. Viruses that cause influenza spread from person to person mainly by airborne droplets of respiratory fluids that are sent through the air when someone infected with the virus coughs or sneezes. Other people inhale the airborne virus and can become infected. In some cases, the flu can be spread when someone touches a surface (e.g., doorknobs, countertops, telephones) that has the virus on it and then touches his or her nose, mouth or eyes. The flu is most easily spread in crowded places such as schools and offices.

Transmission of the virus from birds to humans occurs when birds such as turkeys, geese, and domestic chickens come in contact with the virus from food, water, or particles contaminated with the virus. The virus can be shed in the droppings of migratory birds since they are natural carriers and is able to survive for three months in cool temperatures. It can also survive in water at 0°C for more than 30 days and at 22°C for up to 4 days. If a person working closely with these animals inhales dust particles containing the virus or by other means, they could develop the bird flu.

For now, the primary treatment option remains the flu drug oseltamivir (Tamiflu), which works by preventing the virus from multiplying. It’s not clear how effective Tamiflu will prove against H5N1. Another antiviral flu drug, zanamivir (Relenza), may be an alternative. However, viruses may become resistant to both of these drugs.

Flu And Cold In Children – Causes And Treatment Explained

If a child’s immune system is weakened for any reason, this child will contract viruses that will cause colds and flus. There are so many strains of these viral infections, there is no permanent treatment that will completely kill these viruses. However, these treatments will surppress the rate of growth. Treating the symptoms can help add in the imporovement of his or her health; but not all children will respond favorable to treatments.

If your child is exposed to another person who is already infected, it increases the risk of your child becoming sick. When your child shows signs of any combination of mild headaches, being excessively tired, congested or runny nose, red and watery eyes, small fevers, sneezing and coughing, achy muscles and sore throats; he or she has contracted the flu and cold virus.

Once your child is exposed, it takes two to five days for him or her to sow symptoms of the virus. Then it takes three to five days for the flu and cold to be at full development. It usually takes about two weeks for the cold or flu to run through the full course and healing begins.

The cold virus affects the upper respiratory system. The flu virus is worse then the cold and grows rapidly. Flu symptoms are combinations of high fever, runny nose, sore throat, congestion, chills, fatigue, nausea, vomiting and eye pain. It is extremely important to be aware of the difference between the flu and cold symptoms.

The flu is more severe than the cold; the cold is easier to overcome, than the flu. the best clue as to what your child may be dealing with , is to recall the instance of exposure and whether it was a cold or the flu. If it is unclear as to what your child is suffering, consult with your family doctor. A swab taken from either the nasal or throat can determine the course of treatment needed for your child.

These viruses are not effected, in any way, by antibiotics. Any antibiotics prescribed, are so given, to ward off any secondary bacterial infections such as ear and sinus infections. Some steps to be taken to assist in the comfort of your child, as best you can, will be assuring he or she takes in plenty of liquids. Another step is to use a cool mist humidifier to help suppress symptoms such as coughing and congestion. There are over-the-counter medications that can assist with congestion, runny nose and cough; but these too need to be handled with extreme care. Read the labels to ensure what you purchase will take care of the problem. If your infant experiences a runny nose, a bulb syringe or nasal drop will be handy to help clean up passages.

It is best to treat any symptoms in the first forty eight hours of onset. If you don’t treat the early symptoms of flu, the infection could worsen into pneumonia.

Research shows: Flu is an infection common with school age children and spreads easily. As many as twenty percent of Amercian citizens become infected every year. As high as twenty thousand victims have died from flu alone.

Flu shots are available and can be recommended by your doctor; this will help prevent most strains of flu and cold viruses. Nasal spray can also be prescribed in place of the shot. both procedures will add in strengthening the immune system, by building antibodies to fight the viruses.

Research aso shows more than a hundred viruses are connected to the cause of the common cold. Many more strains of viruses are connected to the flu. Because of this high number of viruses for flu, nasal spray and shots are available. The nasal spray vaccine has been developed from live weakened viruses. Shots, in the same manner, are developed from completely dead viruses. If a child is exposed to contaminating viruses, he or she may be given the same medicine flu patients recieve.

Not everyone can take flu shots or nasal spray. Some people complain of allergic reaction, people suffering Guillain-Barre syndrome, people allergic to eggs, these are just a few catagories of people who can’t take preventative measures. Always get advice from your doctor before recieving the flu shots.

Those who are at highest risk of contracting flu are:
*Children up to five years old
*Elderly flok of sixty five and older
*Nursing home residents
*Expecting women
*Patients experiencing health problems on a long term (heart conditions, stroke, ect.)
*Health care workers that come into contacty with flu patients
*Home health aids working with the elderly and young

What is Avian Flu and Causes of Avian Flu

The avian flu that has affected birds and people in Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, is different from the flu that many people get during the cold-weather months. Poultry — like chickens and turkeys — tend to get infected with the bird flu by migrating waterfowl (like ducks, geese, and swans), and spread it to other birds through their infected feces, saliva, or secretions. Avian influenza is flu infection in birds. The disease is of concern to humans, who have no immunity against it. The virus that causes this infection in birds can mutate (change) to easily infect humans. Such mutation can start a deadly worldwide epidemic. Avian Flu Causes The ABCs of influenza viruses Influenza viruses are divided into three types (strains) of viruses — influenza A, B and C. Type A is responsible for the deadly influenza pandemics. Type B can lead to smaller, more localized outbreaks. Less common and more stable than other strains, type C has milder symptoms. Either types A or B can cause the flu that circulates almost every winter. Farmers and other people working with poultry, as well as travelers visiting affected countries, have a higher risk for getting the bird flu. Handling an infected bird can cause infection. People who eat raw or undercooked poultry meat are also at an increased risk for avian influenza. Highly infective avian flu viruses, such as H5N1, have been shown to survive in the environment for long periods of time, and infection may be spread simply by touching contaminated surfaces. Birds who recover from the flu can continue to shed the virus in their feces and saliva for as long as 10 days. Symptoms and Signs The incubation period ranges from 1 to 4 days with an average of about 48 h. In mild cases, many symptoms are like those of a common cold (eg, sore throat, rhinorrhea); mild conjunctivitis may also occur. Typical influenza in adults is characterized by the sudden onset of chills, fever, prostration, cough, and generalized aches and pains (especially in the back and legs). Viral pneumonia Acute respiratory distress — the most common cause of bird flu-related deaths Flu symptoms make you feel miserable. Learn more about the main flu symptoms so you can treat these early on. Also, find out when to call the doctor about flu symptoms. Avian Flu Treatment It’s possible that antiviral medicines used to treat other types of flu may be effective in treating bird flu in humans. There is currently no vaccine to prevent bird flu in humans. Scientists are working on developing a vaccine, but it’s difficult because the virus frequently mutates (changes). The main drug in the treatment of bird flu is Tamiflu. The drug of choice in case of an outbreak of bird flu is Tamiflu. Tamiflu has been stockpiled by governments in readiness for the possibility of a bird flu pandemic. Treatment For now, the primary treatment option remains the flu drug oseltamivir (Tamiflu), which works by preventing the virus from multiplying. It’s not clear how effective Tamiflu will prove against H5N1. Another antiviral flu drug, zanamivir (Relenza), may be an alternative. However, viruses may become resistant to both of these drugs.

Flu ? Symptoms, Causes and Treatment

Influenza (say: in-floo-en-zah) is also called the flu. It’s an infection that causes fever, chills, cough, body aches, headaches, and sometimes earaches or sinus problems. The flu is caused by the influenza virus (say: vy-rus). A virus is a microorganism (say: my-croh-or-gah-nih-zum), which means it’s so small that you can’t see it without a strong microscope.

Flu Causes

Somewhere between day 2 and day 4 of the illness, the “whole body” symptoms begin to subside, and respiratory symptoms begin to increase. The flu virus can settle anywhere in the respiratory tract, producing symptoms of a cold, croup, sore throat, bronchiolitis, ear infection, or pneumonia.

Flu Symptoms

Symptoms of influenza can start quite suddenly one to two days after infection. Usually the first symptoms are chills or a chilly sensation, but fever is also common early in the infection, with body temperatures as high as 39 °C (approximately 103 °F). Many people are so ill that they are confined to bed for several days, with aches and pains throughout their bodies, which are worse in their backs and legs.[1] Symptoms of influenza may include:

Body aches, especially joints and throat

Coughing and sneezing

Extreme coldness and fever

Although nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea can sometimes accompany influenza infection, especially in children, gastrointestinal symptoms are rarely prominent. The term “stomach flu” is a misnomer that is sometimes used to describe gastrointestinal illnesses caused by other microorganisms.

Preventing Seasonal Flu: Get Vaccinated

The single best way to prevent the flu is to get a flu vaccination each year. There are two types of vaccines:

The “flu shot” – an inactivated vaccine (containing killed virus) that is given with a needle. The flu shot is approved for use in people 6 months of age and older, including healthy people and people with chronic medical conditions.

The nasal-spray flu vaccine – a vaccine made with live, weakened flu viruses that do not cause the flu (sometimes called LAIV for “Live Attenuated Influenza Vaccine”). LAIV is approved for use in healthy* people 2-49 years of age† who are not pregnant.

Flu Diagnosis

You can usually diagnose flu yourself based on the characteristic of your symptoms. It is unusual for any other diagnostic tests to be necessary unless there are complications.

Your GP cannot normally say exactly which virus is causing your flu-like symptoms. The main role of laboratory diagnosis is to identify the main circulating types and strains of the flu virus.

Treatment of Flu

Usually, you’ll need nothing more than bed rest and plenty of fluids to treat the flu. But in some cases, your doctor may prescribe an antiviral medication such as oseltamivir (Tamiflu) or zanamivir (Relenza).

These drugs, which treat both influenza A and B, work by deactivating an enzyme the virus needs to grow and spread. If taken soon after you notice symptoms, they may shorten your illness by a day or so.

Relenza ™ (Zanamir): This is a novel new drug only approved in the summer of 1999. It is an inhaled nasal spray that acts in the lungs, at the site of primary infection. In addition to treating the influenza type A and B, it successfully prevented flu in four out of five healthy family members who lived with someone already infected with flu.

Influenza is commonly known as flu, it is an infectious disease of birds that can cause by RNA viruses. It is a contagious respiratory illness that is caused by influenza virus. Actually it is a viral infection that affects throat, nose, bronchi and in some cases it also affects lungs.

Influenza is a serious disease and every year about 5%-20% of United States population infected by this disease. Sometimes, more than 200,000 of people are hospitalized as they are having infection of influenza. The flu can be serious or even deadly for elderly people, newborn babies and people with certain chronic illnesses. The influenza even has its own season generally from November to April, with most cases occurring between late December and early March.

Symptoms of influenza

The infection is sometimes confused with common cold but its symptoms are more severe than typical sneezing. Infection of influenza lasts for about a week and sometimes more. It is characterized by sudden onset of high fever, muscle ache, feeling chills, body ache, headache, severe malaise, sore throat, rhinitis and non-productive cough. Dizziness and loss of appetite is another cause of influenza. Sometime vomiting, weakness and ear pain can prove associated symptom of influenza.

Bird Flu – Causes and Symptoms

The bird flu virus is dangerous because it is so ever changing in its nature – often mutating within a very short period of time. Originating in Asia, the bird flu virus has spread throughout the world but still remains confined to areas other than the United States. But, it is only a matter of time. Whether you are watching the latest story on Oprah or MSNBC regarding bird flu it will scare you – guaranteed!

So what are you to do? How are you going to prepare you and your family for the bird flu virus pandemic? Americans, including the president are worried about the possibility that we could not be prepared for a stronger, ever changing bird flu virus. It is estimated that anywhere from 2 million to over 50 million could perish if this virus becomes a reality. The only thing you can do now is prepare.

Avian influenza, or bird flu, is a contagious disease that affects chickens, ducks, turkeys, and other birds. Bird flu was first detected over 100 years ago and nowadays comes in a variety of about 20 strains. Most recently, outbreaks of the viral disease have been caused by the H5N1 strain, which is a particularly deadly strain of the virus.

Causes

The virus that causes bird flu appears to be versatile and resilient. Scientists are working on a new vaccine that would be effective against the new strain of the virus that causes Bird flu. There are different subtypes and strains of the virus that causes bird flu, and some cause more severe disease than others. Results of the examinations for the H5N1 virus that causes bird flu are be announced later on Sunday, officials said.

Bird flu (or Avian flu) is currently being used to describe the influenza virus, H5N1, which is producing a highly contagious and rapidly fatal disease, leading to severe epidemics in birds. Bird flu is caused by different subtypes of influenza A virus affecting chickens, ducks and other birds Viruses which cause mild disease can mutate into viruses that can cause serious disease (highly pathogenic).

Symptoms

Doctor’s offices are flooded with visitors all over the world these days from people wondering if they have a bird flu symptom. We are all so terrified of any kind of bird flu symptom that some people have even stopped going out where there might be other people. This is a little extreme since the bird flu symptom has not yet had many cases of moving from one person to another and most of the world is not even affected with bird flu yet but it is still a good idea to have a good grasp about each bird flu symptom and what you can expect from them.

Each flu will have symptoms and a bird flu symptom is not really any different, they can just get worse. If you have the bird flu you will be looking at the same types of symptoms, there will be the sore throat, a cough, perhaps some sneezing, a fever but you may also suffer from a more serious bird flu symptom like respiratory distress or even failure. This type of bird flu symptom could cause death.
