The possibility of human infection from “Avian flu” or “Avian Influenza” commonly known as “Bird Flu” and “Swine Flu”is commonly less to the majority people because the viruses arise mostly through birds and do not normally infect human being. The majority cases of avian influenza infection in human being have occurred from get in touch with infected, contaminated and germy poultry, for example: Chicken, Ducks, and Turkeys or surfaces infected with discharge or excretions from contaminated and infected birds. What is Bird Flu?
“Avian Flu” a H5N1 Virus.
“Avian influenza”, “Swine Flu” or “Bird Flu” is a virus or infection originally found in birds. Birds take these viruses from worldwide in their intestines, however birds generally do not get ill from these viruses. But, Avian influenza or Swine flu is transmittable between birds and sometimes it may cause very severe illness for several sophisticated and sensitive birds and also kill them.
Birds who infected from Swine flu or Avian influenza shed influenza virus in their nasal secretions, saliva and feces. When the birds get in touch with infected excretions or discharge or in touch with infections that is outside or at the surfaces that are infected with excretions or discharge from infected birds. Cultivated and sophisticated birds might become contaminated with swine flu virus through direct touch with contaminated waterfowl or other unhygienic and contaminated poultry, or through touch with surfaces like cages, soil and materials like water or feed that have been infected from virus.
Types of Avian Influenza or Bird Flu:
There are various subtypes of “A” influenza viruses and every type differs from other types. They differs because of transformation in several proteins on the surface of the influenza A virus (Hemagglutinin [HA] and Neuraminidase [NA] proteins). There are sixteen well-known HA subtypes and nine well-known NA subtypes of influenza A viruses. Various disparate mixture of HA and NA proteins may probable.
